Community & Support Specialist
-
6 Month Contract (Medical Leave Coverage)

 
 

At Hinterland, we pride ourselves in our approach to community support and the thoughtfulness of our interactions with players. We are looking for a contract Community & Support Specialist to provide coverage while one of our team members is on extended medical leave.

You should be a highly effective communications professional with 2-3 years of experience handling community and support tasks for a game with a very active community. You should have proven experience supporting a “live game”, with particular attention to PC and console player communities.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Communicate effectively online using the established brand voice of the studio.

  • Monitor social media channels and respond to feedback from players.

  • Monitor community channels including forums, and interact with players in a positive manner.

  • Monitor support channels (using Zendesk) and help players who have run into technical issues with the game.

  • Liaise with the internal Test team as needed, to fulfill the above responsibilities.

Please keep in mind that this is a 6-month on-site contract, which could be extended to a full-time salaried role for the right candidate. We are not looking for remote employees for this role.
